Opening Header

Students in all art courses are encouraged to explore sculptural areas such as assemblage (recycling cast-away objects) paper-building, mask-making, and occassionally, self-hardening clay. The art room is limited in space, so no regular integration of more advanced sculpture-making is feasible. However,as with most art-making assignments, the emphasis is on problem-solving usingappropriate technology. What follows is a sampling of student solutions to visual design problems. As for the Subbie Thinking-Cap assignment, there are many images being processed as well as assignment descriptions being formatted. Come back and check on its progress!
